Mac Gallery is building twenty stores to sell Apple products and related peripherals. We are different from other computer stores for several reasons:
The only computers we sell are made by Apple.
Our research shows that they are the most powerful, most reliable and easiest to use. Because they work better, the total cost of ownership is less than other brands of
computers.
We sell a very limited number of third party peripherals such as printers, scanners, iPod accessories, speakers, software and computer books. Our corporate staff
tests hundreds of products for quality, ease of use and compatibility with Apple products. With printers, the cost of consumables such as printer ink is factored in. We then compare our results with the test results and recommendations pulled from several computer magazines and Consumer Reports. We pay special attention to reliability and tech support.
This research enables us to determine the best product in each category… and that is all we carry. We take the confusion out of buying for you. For example, we
carry only five printers:
- An all in one printer/fax/scanner/copier (where versatility is more important than cost of expendables)
- A large format printer (handles 13 X 19 inch paper) for desktop publishing professionals.
- A photo quality ink jet printer (where maximum image quality is most important)
- A high speed networkable laser printer (for high volume printing where speed and cost of expendables is important).
- A very small printer for travel (speed and quality are compromised for portability)
As you can see, each printer is designed to fill a specific need. When you come to Mac Gallery, your sales person will ask questions about what your intended uses will be. With this information, he or she will be able to make recommendations that perfectly fit your
requirements.
This same methodology is employed to make sure you get the best monitors, speakers, software and other peripherals.
Mac Gallery salespeople do not get factory spiffs nor they do not work on commission.
So the recommendations they make are based on filling your needs not enhancing their paycheck.
Mac Gallery staff are trained to focus on customer satisfaction by giving accurate advice and fast service. Apple provides to Mac Gallery extensive on-line interactive training materials on every product Apple manufactures. Our sales staff have to pass all of the courses before they are authorized to help customers.
Unlike the big box retailers, you will find that every computer and item on display at Mac Gallery is in perfect working condition.
All of the computers have a full suite of software. All computers are connected to the Internet. All of the printers are operational and connected to a computer. So when you test an item at Mac Gallery, you will have a “real world” experience.
